EDF is a life survival skills provider for rural community leaders. We conduct yearly Rural Leadership training programs in various life survival skills. Christian based in inspiration, We are ecumenical in practice and embrace any faith, race, class, or profession can participate as long as they share EDF’s vision. After training, they also must be willing to return and contribute in their respective communities or organizations.

We are duty bound to the biblical teachings as reflected in the book of Mathews 25 Vs 35-36:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

Our Campus
Ecumenical Development Foundation is located in Kanakantapa settlement scheme, Plot No 464, Village E, Chongwe District, Post Office Box 185,Chongwe, Lusaka, Zambia. Off great east road 58 kilometers from the capital city Lusaka. We are set on a four hectare farm land attached with a residential plot where staff houses can be built.The campus has a poultry house which has broiler and village chickens, & accompanied with a 4,000 capacity incubator ,piggery and Goats sections. There is a classroom block, food processing and preservation house, stock feed processing machinery and the Directors residence and a convenient self contained guest chalet . One semidetached staff house. The campus is connected with three phase power and well fenced.
